Preparing models for printing

Model checks

• Confirm units, overall size, and fit requirements.
• Check that geometry represents the intended solid.
• Identify thin walls, small features, and disconnected components.
• Consider orientation, supports, clearances, and finishing access.
• Confirm that the model can fit the selected machine.

Job preparation

Use software appropriate to the printing process. Preview layers or toolpaths where available, then check material and machine settings against the relevant documentation.
